Treasure Hunt

First of the kids' three Easter egg hunts this year:

Let the games begin!

And the advantage of still having kids this age is that it's all about the collecting.  They're not really sure what's inside them, they're not that fussed if they only get to eat a handful of the treasure within, and they have no idea that the still filled eggs are just gonna get recycled for the other two hunts.

This is way more fun!

Actually, that's not totally true.  Toots is doing one at school tomorrow and is sure to come home with at least two dozen eggs.  So at some point between tomorrow night and Sunday, the Don and I are going to empty them all, take out all the goodies we want, keep a few for the kids, then refill them all again with things like bubble gum and jaw breakers that I think my little'uns are still to small for (though they'd happily gobble up).  Then we'll just hope that we don't get too many of our own eggs back on Sunday at the final hunt!
